ATP was founded in 1999 under the name Northwest Training & Events in Portland, Oregon. Bob Hancy bought the company in 2001 and changed it’s name to the Academy of Training & Prevention. The purpose of the company is to educate servers about the dangers of alcohol, how to check ID, how to reduce liability and help save lives.
